I am honoured to part-take in the 2025-26 Breakthrough fellowhsip offered by Artists Futures Fund.

So Far my experience on the fellowship has been such an enlightening and inspirational one. Being back in the Loughborough Uni studios has provided a space I am comfortable in to take the next step in my artistic career.

I have been using my time here to explore workshops I wasn't able to experiment with during my undergraduate degree, so far I have reconnected with both painting and print as a medium to expand my practise. I hope to explore the Ceramics workshop after the Christmas break.

I have had the incredible opportunity to get involved in some teaching, taking part in lectures and supervised studio time. Which has been an eye-opening experience into the other side of university life.

The Fellowship provides learning opportunities in which we as a cohort are given incredible workshops provided by the Visual Arts Association.

Alongside my fellow post-grad peers we have formed a collective called 'The Fishbowl' :

Members -

- Mya Kelley

- Emily Hought

- Charlotte Sherman-Smith

- Liv Davis (myself)

Together we have been creating a space that truly encourages creativity and collaboration.  We run Drop-in advice session to offer our experience and advice to those on the Fine Art BA at Loughborough.

We are slowly building an online community on Instagram where we share our experiences as post-grad artists and I am excited to see what we get up too as a collective in the coming year.

Please follow our journey as a collective @The_Fishbowl_collective in Instagram.
